Jordan Loux
Hi! I'm Jordan, 24 years old, and I've been travelling for almost three years now. It was always my dream to travel outside of Europe, so eventually I booked a one-way ticket together with my best friend. The only problem was that after a while she had to return home for school, and suddenly I was on my own. It was terrifying and completely outside my comfort zone, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. The main reason I'm organising this trip is because I don't want women to keep waiting for someone to travel with. So let's do it together! Making new friends and creating unforgettable memories. I'm incredibly excited to meet new people and return to one of my favourite countries in the world: Sri Lanka.
What Awaits You
Morning: Early departure to Udawalawe National Park for a safari among elephants and other wildlife.
Afternoon: Lunch on the way and a scenic drive back through the beautiful landscapes of Sri Lanka.
Evening: A relaxing evening at the villa with dinner and laid-back poolside vibes.
Morning: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing for Hiriketiya with the included tuk-tuk transfer.
Afternoon: Free time to explore Hiriketiya, go surfing, have lunch, or simply enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.
Evening: Return to Weligama, optional yoga session, and a shared dinner with the group.
Morning: Breakfast and a surf session in Weligama with coaching.
Afternoon: Lunch followed by a trip to Mirissa to explore the beach and surrounding area.
Evening: Sunset at Coconut Tree Hill before returning to the villa for a relaxed evening with the group.

This trip is a combination of sport and adventure, with surfing as the main activity. You'll be active in the water every day, while still having plenty of time to relax, enjoy yoga sessions, and experience the beauty of Sri Lanka.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers: you don't need any surfing experience to join. In fact, this trip is the perfect opportunity to learn how to surf or take your skills to the next level. Being reasonably active is helpful, but everything is done at your own pace and tailored to your level.

Before Departure
The hosts will organise an in-person meet-up in the Netherlands, giving you the chance to get to know the group before the trip begins.
During this day, you'll meet both the hosts and the other participants. After (or during) the meet-up, you'll have the opportunity to book your flights together with the group, so you can travel to Sri Lanka together.
